The Florida Outdoor Room system utilises the unique structural properties of extruded aluminium which is both lightweight and strong. Large unobtrusive enclosure designs are available by using the attractive Mansard shape which provides tremendous strength and bracing to span large areas. The Florida Outdoor Room enclosure designs meet and exceed the structural requirements of the Australian wind loading standards, and an engineering review of the complete system has been conducted by the Structures Laboratory at the Queensland University of Technology. Design criteria for every connection were evaluated in the NATA approved test facility at the University, with actual sample connections structurally stressed up to 4 times their design load specifications. Special Double Locking Device: The spline grooves have an extra locking device which guards against spline rollout. Our "Superspoked" rubber spline ensures mesh stability even in high winds. |
